Suudi Kukumba

Born in 1962 in the vibrant city of Kampala, Uganda, Suudi Kukumba has cultivated a remarkable career in the realm of fine art. From 1983 to 1988, he pursued his Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art at Makerere University, a prestigious institution known for its contributions to the visual arts in Africa. In addition to being a proud member of the Uganda Artists Association, he briefly lectured at the Makerere Art School, sharing his knowledge and experiences with aspiring artists. Later, he took on a significant role as the head of the Art faculty at Kampala University from 1998 to 2001, further shaping the future of art education in the region.
